Ignite is our youth group for school years 7+.

It meets weekly during term time at 7.30pm on Thursdays. We normally meet at the Eastern Oswestry Community Centre but sometimes elsewhere. Check out the programme below from the church calendar.

Lots happens each week as we plan a programme that covers spiritual and relational issues. We also have lots of activities, socials and fun too. We also meet at other times such as a weekend away or trip out to events and concerts, as well as helping others.

This isn’t a youth social club. It is about reaching and shaping a new generation for the cause of Jesus and to that end we try and ensure they connect with God through study, prayer and worship and support each other.

The group is open to all and the young people who come are at vary different points spiritually. But we are there to help anyone find friendship with each other and help them on their spiritual journey towards Jesus.

On Sunday mornings from 11am, Ignite on Sundays lights up!. This is really a continuation of the work that takes place on Thursdays and is designed to help the young people figure out all that they have been learning during the week and how they can put it into practice.
We also try and encourage the young people to get involved in church life, using and exploring gifts and talents as well as meeting at times as a church community all together.
